Ibiza 2017 | Our Travel Diary.

DE: Wow – die letzten Tage waren einfach traumhaft. Es ging für uns das allererste Mal nach Ibiza, denn bisher waren wir treue Fans von Mallorca. Dort haben wir schon viele Buchten erkundet und waren immer wieder aufs Neue erstaunt, wie schön die Insel fernab von Ballermann & Co ist. Aber, diesmal wollten wir auch mal der benachbarten Balearen-Insel Ibiza eine Chance geben. Immer nur dasselbe tun und nichts Neues entdecken, ist nämlich im Grunde so gar nicht unser Ding. Also auf in ein neues Abenteuer! Gewagt war schon alleine unsere Hotel-Wahl, denn es lag direkt am bekannten Playa d’en Bossa, dem Partystrand von Ibiza! Im Nachhinein würden wir uns aber sofort wieder ein Hotel dort buchen, denn die Stimmung ist grandios und es ist in keinster Weise mit Ballermann-Feeling zu vergleichen. Über unser Hotel folgt übrigens noch ein separater Post, denn es hat uns dort richtig gut gefallen. Kennt ihr diese Lieder, die euch auf ewig an einen bestimmten Urlaub erinnern werden? Bei uns sind es diese beiden genialen Sommer Songs geworden: Maan on the moon – Scar (Extended Version) und Dotan – Hungry (Niklas Ibach Remix), denn sie liefen im Hotel hoch und runter 😀 Fernab von Party und Pool-Relaxing haben wir uns auch eine Bucht, den Norden und die Altstadt angesehen. Die felsige Bucht Sa Caleta können wir euch nur empfehlen. Wir waren schon früh morgens dort und es war noch sehr still, das Wasser ist klar und die Kulisse mit den hohen, roten Felsen einfach ein Traum! Die Altstadt Ibizas hat uns auf jeden Fall auch total überrascht. So wunderschön und idyllisch! Hier hätten wir noch Stunden durch die Straßen bummeln können. Im Norden der Insel haben wir auch noch ein kleines, verstecktes Paradies gefunden. Der Geheimtipp folgt etwas weiter unten : ).

EN: Wow – the last couple of days have just been amazing! We went to Ibiza for the very first time as we’ve been big and loyal fans of Majorca so far. Anyway this time we wanted to give the adjacent Balearic island Ibiza a try. Always doing the same and never exploring something new, that’s really not our thing. So off to new adventures! Let’s start with our hotel choice which already was really brave since we went for a hotel on the popular party beach Playa d’en Bossa. But we have to admit, we’d always choose this area again since there’s an amazing atmosphere and it’s not at all comparable to „Ballermann“ (Majorca). Btw there’s gonna be a separate blog post about our hotel soon because we really loved it. Do you know these songs which will always remind you of a specific summer/holiday trip? This time these two became ours: Maan on the moon – Scar (Extended Version) and Dotan – Hungry (Niklas Ibach Remix) since they were playing it non stop 😀 Besides party and pool relaxing we also visited a bay, the north of the island and the old town of Ibiza. We can really recommend the rocky bay „Sa Caleta“. It’s really quite there, the water is clear and the view with the red cliffs is just amazing! The old town of Ibiza also really impressed us. So pretty and idyllic! We could’ve stayed there strolling through the streets for much longer. In the north of the island we discovered a real, hidden paradise. We’ll tell you more about it below : ).

A HIDDEN DIAMOND in the north of the island: „Hacienda Na Xamena Spa“

DE: Im Norden Ibizas, hoch auf dem Berg gelegen, versteckt sich ein echter Diamant, das Hotel Hacienda Na Xamena. Auch wenn man hier kein Hotelgast ist, sollte man sich das Spa Erlebnis „Cascadas Suspendidas“ auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen! Der Ausblick auf die Weiten des Meeres von ganz weit oben während man die 8 verschieden beheizten Massage-Pools genießt, ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Buchen kann man es in drei verschiedenen Varianten: mit Lunch, Dinner oder Pica Pica (frischer Saft/Smoothie of the day und 3 kleine Tapas). Wir haben letzteres gewählt und fanden es einfach super! Den Anfang des Sonnenuntergangs haben wir nämlich noch erleben können, es war wirklich unvergesslich!! Wer den Sonnenuntergang dort in voller Pracht genießen möchte, sollte die Variante mit Dinner wählen. Buchen kann man das Spa Erlebniss der unvergesslichen Art hier.

EN: In the north of the island, hidden on a rock, you can find a real diamond, the hotel Hacienda Na Xamena. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, you should not miss it’s Spa experience called „Cascadas Suspendidas“. The view over the vastness of the sea from up above while you’re enjoying 8 differently heated massage pools is an unforgettable experience! They’re offering the treatment in 3 different formulas: with lunch, dinner or Pica Pica (a fresh juice of the day and three healthy tapas). We chose the Pica Pica treatment and simply loved it! We also could enjoy a little of the beginning of the sundown, but if you want to see the whole sundowner you should go for the dinner package.
